I Want To Try Something New! Hi All, This has been another incredibly busy week, both for Tech With Dom as well as my day job. When working a full-time job and doing something on the side such as running a side hustle or learning a new skill, things can quickly become very busy and you have to know how to plan your time properly. I tend to plan my week during the weekend using a to-do list as well as a calendar app, but I've lately been watching many productivity videos and I decided to try something new. I decided to start a sleep routine for the next couple of weeks to see if I can improve my sleep and become more productive. Over the last couple of years, I've realised that I tend to be more productive in the mornings and that productivity falls off a steep hill during the evenings. So using the Sleep feature on my iPhone, I decided to start a sleep schedule from tomorrow morning. The idea is to go to sleep and wake up at roughly the same time every day. With this routine, I am hoping to beat tiredness and become more productive. Will it work? I'm not sure, but I guess there's only one way to tell! Apple Vision Pro is available for pre-order!Apple has made the Apple Vision Pro available for pre-order on Thursday and I'm still not sure what to think about it. I mean the technology is really cool, but I can't help but think that the world is not ready for it. I mean we are definitely in need of a new piece of tech that will revolutionise the world, but I'm not sure whether this is it. I mean I can't picture going into an office where everybody is wearing them instead of looking at screens. Don't get me wrong, it will probably happen one day, but I'm not sure this day will come any time soon. I definitely can't imagine people using it when they're out and about. I mean, I'm already not a fan of carrying massive headphones. But if they release a smaller version of it in the shape of glasses, I may consider it. But for now, I just want to wait and see where the tech industry goes with this. Samsung UnpackedI must admit, I completely forgot about this event, but looking back at it. I'm glad that they are looking into AI as it can be incredibly useful. I think that real-time voice translation over calls is just incredible, but it will be interesting to see how it copes. I mean as a bilingual person, I know that Google Translate isn't always correct and that some of the translations don't make sense. I'm a bit concerned that Google is collaborating with Samsung, I mean I guess it's a good thing, but I hope the Google Pixel line doesn't suffer because of it! Speaking of which, I think that Circle to Search is really cool! But as a whole, I'm actually a bit disappointed to see that the design of the phones they released is very similar to the previous models. Wishing you all the very best! |

By Dom Kwolczak Hi Reader, As a tech reviewer, I review tech from all sorts of big and small brands. Some of these brands are very popular and some are less known, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. That’s why, based on my experience with buying and getting items sent from less—known brands, I decided to share the things which I think you should know before buying… Price vs. Value In many cases, we choose to go with lesser-known brands because they offer considerably cheaper products...
By Dom Kwolczak Roll into action and give this fantastic app a whirl! Hi All, Hope you're all doing well! This has been a bit of a strange week mainly because of how fast the weather changed. The week started with it being around 12 to 14°C and then halfway through the week it dropped to below 5°C! I remember Thursday morning being pretty warm but then when I left the office it was so cold! That has of course spoiled my plans for recording content for my channel as I didn't think to take...
🖥️ Microsoft Needs To Do This NOW! Hi All, I started the week with a random thought and if you think about it, it actually makes sense, especially in this day and age - but we'll get to that a little later. First, I wanted to mention that Microsoft Windows has always been an operating system I associate work and corporate life with. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that most companies I ever worked for used Windows of some variation. According to research, Microsoft Windows also...
